Santa Cruz Filarmonia Orchestra in Concert

On November 10, the Santa Cruz Filarmonia Orchestra performed its Official Concert 2017. The concert took place on Sunday 8pm, at the São Luís Marist College Auditorium, in Santa Cruz do Sul.

Gabriel Trapp, soloist in Vivaldi's Violin Concerto

On this Official Concert, members of the orchestra performed as soloists in significant works of classical repertoire such as J.S Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 2, A. Vivaldi's Concerto for Violin RV230 and G. Telemann's Concerto for 4 Violins. The entirely new repertoire also included a Symphony by one of J. S. Bach's children: Johann Christian and finalized the first part of the concert with the well-known Waltz of The Sleeping Beauty Ballet, of P. Tchaikowsky.

Leandro Sobral, soloist in Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 2

Two pieces were premiered on this concert: "Family" by Billy Vitale, Carlo D'Alatri and Fabrizio Pigliucci, written and dedicated to Santa Cruz Filarmonia; and "November" by Sandra Mohr. The concert also featured a hit from the British band Coldplay and finalized with the series theme that marked the 70s and 80s, filmed again in 2010: Hawaii Five-O.
