Music festival in Santa Cruz do Sul (South Brazil)

Santa Cruz do Sul had its beginning of the year taken by the music. The emergence of Musikfest festival has allied experienced musicians with promising youngsters. A week with lots of learning and great concerts.

The first Musikfest took place from January 8 to 13 in Santa Cruz do Sul. In total 16 courses and 6 concert nights.

The courses varied from orchestral direction to musical appreciation, as well as classes for singers and instrumentalists.

The concerts took place every night and they contemplated great classics of the classical music, including the performance of "Le Nozze di Figaro" (The Marriage of Figaro) in reduced version, a Pocket Opera.

​

It is worth mentioning that all the classes and concerts took place on São Luís Marist School premises, which proved to be a great partner and supporter of culture.

Sandra Mohr, besides acting as a teacher and pianist at the festival, participated in its creation. Acting also in all the development and structuring of the event, assuming the Executive Direction.
