"This melody was written in 1999 and the initial idea was to create lyrics to sing at Christmas Day with my siblings, but we ended up not performing this song. The melody was created, and here is a version for strings quartet and piano, but it works too with 3 violins, just replacing the viola with a third violin. "

"Just like the song "5", April celebrates the eighth month of coutership. Initially it was composed for a CD with 12 songs, one for each month of the year. The present version was written for piano and three violins. There is also an orchestral version below."

Dança de Negros II (Negro Dance II) – piano and string orchestra version
I wrote this piece in 1999 and it was performed as a recital encore in Porto Alegre, with an accomplished violinist, for whom this piece was dedicated.
In 2005 I wrote this version for piano and string orchestra.
