Divertimento Barroco (Baroque Divertimento)

"I wrote this piece to play with a friend when I was studying at the Ivoti Institute of Education. As we played a lot of Baroque repertoire, I was inspired to write this piece in the same style." Check out the scores below, available for free.

Canção de Natal (Christmas Song)
"This melody was written in 1999 and the initial idea was to create lyrics to sing at Christmas Day with my siblings, but we ended up not performing this song. The melody was created, and here is a version for strings quartet and piano, but it works too with 3 violins, just replacing the viola with a third violin. "

Abril (April)
"Just like the song "5", April celebrates the eighth month of coutership. Initially it was composed for a CD with 12 songs, one for each month of the year. The present version was written for piano and three violins. There is also an orchestral version below."

In 2018, I used one of this soundtracks to create a didactic piece for piano 4 hands written for the XVII Cora Pavan Capparelli Piano Competition, held in Uberlândia/MG/Brazil.

Entrega (Surrender)
There are moments in life when our actions are limited by unexpected situations. At such times, we need to trust what is to come, we need to believe that the best is being prepared for us, we need to practice the virtue of "surrender". With this composition, I would like to invite you to think about a moment in your life when you had to courageously surrender to the future.
I wrote this piece in 1997, originally for voice and piano. The current version is from 2017.
