The piece was written in November 2004, at the request of Cássio Caponi and was performed 2 weeks later as an encore on his graduation recital. It is written for soprano and alto recorders and piano. It is performed here by DuoBrasil, formed by Brazilian musicians Betiza Landim (recorder) and Daniela Carrijo (piano).
